David Patrick Bacon passed away April 5, 2012. David was born to LeRoy and Pat Bacon September 9, 1959 in Great Falls MT.
The family moved to Helena in 1971 where David finished his education. Later he graduated from culinary school in Portland. He then came back to Helena and ran Lil’ Rock’s Café. In 1996 he returned to Great Falls and worked at Albertsons in the produce department where he remained until 2011 when he transferred to the Helena store. He was working at the Helena Albertsons at the time of his death.
David truly and deeply loved his two sons and his daughter. David loved to cook and was a great at it. David also loved to fish, ride horses, restore antique furniture. But most of all David loved to make people laugh.
He is survived by his mother Pat Smith, sons David and Kenneth Bacon and their mother Susan Edelbach. Daughter Alora Lee and her mother Nora Leohner. Sister and brother-in-law Camie and Mike Zufelt. Brothers Michael and Douglas Bacon. Aunt Carol and Uncle Joel Marshall, Uncle Jack McVay. Special friend Lora Hedrick. Numerous nieces and nephews.
David was proceed in death by father LeRoy Bacon, step-father Ben Smith, two brothers Tom and Nick Bacon, and both sets of grandparents Bacon and Mulvaney.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Dave was a very caring person and full of smiles and laughter.Never had a gripe about anyone or anything , took one day at a time like we should all do. Life is what we make it ,ups and downs,happy or sad,we must go on. Rest in peace my friend until we meet again , God Bless.
