Cathy Thompson Santoro, passed away peacefully Monday, October 27th, at Saint Peter’s Hospital. She was 71.
Cathy was born and raised in Helena, graduated from Helena Senior High School, attended Colby College as well as Denver University, where she pledged to the Delta Gamma Sorority. In high school she was in the Honor Society and editor of her of her high school yearbook.
She loved the outdoors and the gracious, small community of Helena where she lived her entire life.
Cathy was preceded in death by her father, John G. Thompson, who ran The Lincoln National Life Insurance Company located on Main Street.
She is survived by her husband Troy Santoro, her mother Priscilla A. Small who lives in Santa Barbara, California, her sisters Barbara T. Hadley and Victoria T. Treece.
A memorial service will be held at “Our Place,” 631 Last Chance Gulch, Helena, MT 59601 at 10 a.m. Friday, October 31, 2014. Memorial donations in Cathy’s name can be directed to The Center for Mental Health, 900 North Jackson Street, Helena, MT 59601.
