Alice & Bill Dove says
We were privlidged to get to know Fr. Sodja as a resident at Waterford.
My late father, Paul Kleffner was also a resident. & Fr Sodja said the weekly Wed. Mass we attended. He s also shared the story of his younger life, and how he would always be connected to East Helena. He went to Whitehall as Pastor, after we had moved to Helena, but our firends told us He was a wonderful Pastor & much loved.
Our prayers are with you all. Bill & Alice Dove

Our family remembers Father Sodja fondly from his days at St. Catherine’s in Big Fork. He was always so upbeat and kind and generous and so very faithful to our Lord. He will be sorely missed! May God cradle him in His loving embrace! Our condolences to Father’s family.

Father Sodja was our first pastor at St. Anne’s in Somers after moving here from Chicago, Illinois. He baptized two of my six children. My older son Dale served for him at mass until he was 16. Our family loved Fr. Sodja he was a wonderful, holy, and reverent priest. I am so grateful that our family had the privilege of attending mass with him on Sundays. He loved the children and he loved blessing all of their First Communion gifts and tell them about stories of himself as a young boy during lent. I have the most wonderful picture of my son Matthew when he was 2 and Father Sodja talking to him as they sat underneath the statue of Mary at church. He will be forever in the hearts of the Joy family. Father Sodja you will be missed! Love, Dale, Diane, Michelle, Dale, Amy, Christopher, Matthew, and Adam
