Jessie Elizabeth McCormick, 63, passed peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital in Helena, Montana on November 29th after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born on March 15, 1954 in Butte, Jessie was then raised in Kalispell, instilling a lifelong love for the Flathead Valley.
Jessie deeply loved her family and Montana. She said many times, the meaning of her life was her family. Her relationships with her children and grandchildren were precious. She had a special heart for care-taking. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) she brought much peace and compassion to those she cared for.
The family will conduct a private ceremony at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Montana Loon Society, 3027 Mt Highway 83 N # E1, Seeley Lake, MT 59868, or a cancer research foundation of your choice. Please visit below to offer the family a condolence or to share a memory of Jessie.

I want to send my condolences to the Family. Loosing a dear loved one is never easy and it’s natural to feel a void or as if your heart is broken, I felt that myself when my mother died at such a young age, 57.
The comfort I received was from the scripture in John 5:28,29 the promise of the resurrection. The comfort of knowing there is going to be a resurrection was so comforting!
There is a short brochure at the web site jw.org entitled “When Someone you Love Dies” it has helped me and several others to cope. I hope you will take time to read because it too can bring you comfort.
Sincerely,
Ann

Jessie was my co-worker at St Peters Behavioral Heath Center. She was one of the most loving and careing people I have ever known. When she left for a new job it was a terrible loss for me not seeing her daily. I am so saddened to know that I will never laugh with her again. I loved you so much Jessie.
