Our mother, Serena June (Crain) Williams, slipped away peacefully in the early morning hours of October 10, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Mom was born to Claire (Martin) and Quincy Crain on June 29, 1930 in Kingman, Arizona. She had an older brother Quincy, and a younger sister, Arleen. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and sister, and her husband Raymond W. Williams. Mom is survived by her husband Richard (Glen) Williamson; her children, Bruce (Jolene) Williams, Susan (Mike) Spotorno, Cindy (Jim) Lieberg, Cassie Williams and Byron Williams; sixteen grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Those who knew mom will remember her as a kind and caring person with a great sense of humor. You always knew where you stood with mom; she never hesitated to speak her mind.
Mom loved playing Keno, one of her favorite pastimes. Mom also was a great cook and loved to share her meals and recipes with her family.
Mom, we love you and will miss you forever and ever. Until we meet on the flip-side, our memories of the good times will get us through.
Private family services will be held with Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home and Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.

Glen & Williams Family–
I read about June’s passing with sadness. June was part of our Sr. companion program when I worked for Rocky Mtn Development Council. I will remember her with fondness and a good laugh! She was a fun person to be around and I know she will be greatly missed. Take care and know I am thinking of you during this great loss.

Grandma-
You and I may not have had a close relationship in my adult years, but a lot of my childhood memories involve you. Snickerdoodles, gum drops, lemon meringue pie…will always remind me of you. We spent a lot of time with you and grandpa and I will always be grateful for the fact you took care of us when we were with you and opened your home to us when we needed to get away! The crazy stories and memories I have of you, little granny, and grandpa will never be forgotten and always cherished. I love you and hope you’re enjoying your new home!

Cindy & Family–
I returned to work at Resurrection Cemetery after being on a personal leave for just short of a month on Friday, October 10th. One of the first phone calls I received, was from the Funeral Home informing me of June’s passing. I was saddened by the news, but was glad I had returned and would be personally taking care of June’s arrangements here at our Cemetery. June was a blessing to Jami and I as she took care of our first born, Riley– as a new born until he was almost 3. Time flies and Riley is now a Freshman at Capital High. Jami and I both wanted to extend our thoughts and prayers to you and your families during this difficult period.
Many Blessings,
Josh Chisholm

All I can remember is a wonderful woman who loved her children and family. My wish is for her family to know we are so sorry for your loss of such a good soul and person. It sounds like she had a very good life and for that my sister and I are happy.
We will never forget our Aunt Seena. Her sister, Arline, couldn’t say Serena, so she called her Seena.
