Kim was my ex – step mother. I will always remember her compassion, her kind-hearted humor, and her smile that could light up any room. When you would see her smile, you couldn’t help but to smile too. My heart hurts for her children and family…and my thoughts are with them during this sad time. I’m certain she is smiling down on them, and will be with them always. I’m sorry I can’t be there for the funeral, but I am in spirit.

Cathy Shenkle says
I worked with Kim for several years at the Department of Labor and Industry and when I needed a web designer, I asked Kim to apply for the position. Her dedication to the profession, her work ethic, and her love of learning made her an excellent employee and also a respected colleague and friend. I could always count on Kim to do any job that needed to be done. Her first priority was always to the customers she served, looking out for their interests. Rest in peace, Kim. You’ve raised your family well. I’ll miss you!
