KoriAnne Leckner came into the world January 2, 1973, and left us all too soon May 9, 2017. She earned her wings during her life on this earth and now she glows as a brighter star in the sky.
KoriAnne grew up and attended school in Livingston and graduated from Park High School in 1992. She moved to East Helena in 1998 and worked for her parents at their family owned business, Commtech Services.
KoriAnne was a bright star with a gentle heart that made a lasting impression on all those she met. She could light up a room with her smile and beautiful eyes. She could never leave you without a hug because life was too precious and fragile. She had a gypsy soul and loved music, her pets and extended family and friends.
KoriAnne loved being outdoors and enjoyed camping, gardening, quilting and hunting with her new rifle. She was proud of her new home and was looking forward to working in her yard to make it beautiful.
She was a member of Livingston Rainbow Assembly #6, Sapphira Temple #79 Daughters of the Nile and an honorary member of Algeria Shrine Uniformed Bodies/Red Room Catering Service.
She is survived by her parents, Ted and Debbie Leckner of East Helena, brothers Rick (Brenda) of Livingston and Jason (Sonya) of Helena, great Aunt Sandy (Darrell) Shulins of Benton City, WA, Great Uncle Jack (Margaret) Bauer of Livingston, Aunt Shirley Ross of Livingston, Aunt Pam Leckner of Post Falls, ID, Aunt Lynn (Terry) Groth of Canyon Ferry and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. KoriAnne also leaves behind her godchildren McKenna and Connor Shcmolke.
KoriAnne was preceded in death by grandparents Bill and Nancy Ross, Betty Bauer Ross, Bill Leckner, Helen Patterson and her faithful companion, Latte.
A service celebrating KoriAnne’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19th at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 3750 N. Montana Ave. A reception will follow the service at the Algeria Shrine Temple, 15 N. Jackson Street. In lieu of flowers, memorials in KoriAnne’s name are suggested to the Lewis & Clark Humane Society, P.O. Box 4455, Helena, MT 59604 or to the Shriners Hospital for Children, Attn: Angelique Heinzen, 911 W 5th Ave, Spokane, WA 99204.
