Richard A. Stine, age 65, of Helena, passed away January 23, 2017. He was born September 2, 1951 to Earl and Ruth Stine in Helena, MT. At that time the family lived in Marysville. They moved from Marysville to Livingston and then back to Helena.
Richard graduated from Helena Senior High in 1970 and married Connie Holland on July 2, 1971 at Saint Mary Catholic Community in Helena. He worked at Burlington Northern Railway until a back injury.
Richard then started his music career where he played Guitar, Bass Guitar, Harmonica, and was a lead singer. Some of his bands: Loco-Motive, Darbery Brothers, and Mad Hattin, and other local bands.
Richard also sratedhis own business, Valley V-Twin specializing in Accessories for Harley Davidson’s, motorcycle, and motorcycle repair. The business closed in 2010.
Richard is survived by his wife Connie Stine and an older sister, Doris Stine.
A Memorial Service is set for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 3750 N.
