Nora says
Uncle Richard was one of the best! I remember him coming into our lives and he looked like a big mountain man! He was so kind, loving and yet firm. I always knew where I stood with him and knew he would kick my butt as promised, if I ever did the things he told me not too.
I feel bad that I didn’t get to see you one more time. God bless and rest in peace.
Love, Nora

Patti Buckingham says
Richard, you are very much missed. You came into the world quietly, you lived a quiet life and you died a quiet death, no flare, no fireworks, but what you left behind in love and friendship can never be forgotten. Much of my youth was about you. Sharon, stay in touch, we have a granddaughter to raise. Catch you on the flip side my old friend.
