Teresa Lynn Haaland joined her mom and her Lord on 31 December 2017 at the family home in Helena. Teresa was born to Katherine and Ralph Moorman in Grass Valley, California on October 20, 1959. The family moved to Butte where she grew up and graduated from Butte High School. She later moved to the Bitterroot Valley, and then to Troy, where she married her best friend, Frederick (Rick) Haaland.
Teresa’s goal in life was to be a mom and grandmother. She was blessed to be both. She had four sons, Jason (Lisa), Cory (kara), Jamey and Jody, and two step sons, Richard and Robert. She also had five grandchildren, Emily, Rayn, Macy, Cory, Jr. and Jason, Jr. Teresa’s best memories were of fishing, hunting, camping and picking huckleberries with her family. Teresa had a loving heart, and would take in any stray animal that needed food or a home.
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, step father John (Sparky) Thomas, brothers Randy and Warren, nephew Steven and niece Tami. Survivors include her husband, sons and grandchildren, sisters Linda and Sherry (Dan), and brother, Ronnie.
