Victoria “Vicki” Annis McMillan, 65, of Helena passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013 with her family by her side. Vicki was born to Ruby Sinerius in Ennis, Montana. Ruby later married George Zeigler whom Vicki called her father.
Vicki graduated from Helena High School and after 17 years of education she received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Carroll College. Learning was a passion of Vicki’s.
Vicki loved arts, sewing, reading, traveling and cooking. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Vicki married Richard McMillan on December 31, 1970 in Helena, Montana. During their 43 years of marriage they raised three children together; Christopher, Ami, and Stephanie.
Vicki is preceded in death by her brother Brett Zeigler and her parents Ruby and George Zeigler.
Vicki is survived by her husband, Richard McMillan, her children Christopher (Shannon) McMillan, Ami (Jim) Matlock and Stephanie (Dwight) Ransier and her grandchildren, Matt Munson, Cody Matlock, Burt Ransier, Jayden McMillan, and Jordan McMillan.
The family will place the cremated remains of Vicki in the memorial wall at Forestvale Cemetery in Helena at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. The family invites friends and family to remember Vicki at a social gathering from 11:30 am to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the Entry Hall at the Lewis and Clark Fairgrounds. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Vicki’s name are suggested to the St. Peter’s Dialysis Center, 2475 Broadway, Helena, MT 59601.
