Agnes “Maye” (Sullivan) Kjallstrom, 90, formerly of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away on December 13, 2011 in Helena, Montana. She was born on April 18, 1921 to Daniel and Agnes Sullivan, in Regina, Canada.
Maye married Carl Kjallstrom on November 3, 1944 in Dawson Creek, Alaska. He preceded her in death in 1990.
She was a homemaker most of her life and she loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include four daughters, Becky Harwood of Oceanside, CA, Pat Biers of Helena, MT, Carleen VanDerWert of Denver, Julia Chapman of Horseshoe Bend, AR.; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and two sisters Linda and Ann of Canada.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carl of 44 years, an infant daughter Angela Mary; and 13 brothers and sisters.
A family viewing will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 19th at Kinkade Funeral Chapel in Sturgis, SD with a graveside service to follow at 1:30 p.m. at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have the best childhood memories of your mom. She took us to the Thrift Center for lunch. We had great sleepovers. Drive in movies in the back of that great station wagon. She will not be forgotten.
