Alberta (Berta) Rushford, of Helena, Montana, was born on January 31, 1937 and on October 13, 2015 her family and loved ones gained a guardian angel to watch over them. Her life and dreams were dedicated to those she loved with all her heart. As Bert believed that family was everything, her family will now carry on with the same grace, beauty and dedication that she showed each and every second of her life.
As per Bert’s request, a private graveside service will be held. Please visit below to offer the family a condolence or to share a memory of Bert.

Memories of Bert are all good! I had the honor of working with her and having her take me and my family into her heart. The only things she ever disliked were late Ammunition Requests, sad Friends and Family and having anyone in the office hungry.
We will miss her, but also believe there is a special place in Heaven just for people like her. See you later Bert for a joke and a patty melt.

So sorry to hear about Mrs. Rushford. She will truly be missed. Knowing that her family was everything to her, with the hope of the resurrection that the Bible talks about in John 5:28, they will be sure to see her again. God has a purpose yet to fulfill and Psalm 37:29 explains it perfectly. The family is in my thoughts and prayers. I will look forward to seeing her again.
