Andrea Marie Pipe, born February 14, 1963, passed away June 17, 2013 at the age of 50. Andrea was survived by her Husband Ralph Hodge; children, Winter (Gene) Has The Pipe , Jada Hodge, Richard Hodge and Samantha (Mike) Hodge; Father, Richard “Ric” Has The Pipe; brother, Bryan Has The Pipe; sisters, Michelle (Gerald) Shaw, Steph (Kathy) Pipe, Christy Spear. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Peyton, Tristin, Janiah, Gene Jr., Scotty with many nieces and nephews along with a very special friend to the family, Gabby Mozer. Preceding in death by her Mother, Marie Christine Hungerford.
Andrea was raised in East Helena/Helena after traveling through the years and graduated at Provo, Utah in 1979. She continued her education and completed two years of college in Billings for Drafting. During her spare time, Andrea loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved the outdoors and camping with her family was one of her favorite things to do. Andrea especially loved to read, shop, play Candy Crush and watch old movies and crime shows on T.V. She was a kind, loving and generous woman and her family will miss her deeply.
A Visitation is scheduled from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, June 21st at Retz Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. A service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 22nd at Retz Funeral Home. There will be a reception immediately following the service at a family friend’s home; the address will be announced at the service. I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved, Wife, Mother, Grandmother / in-law. She was a wonderful person to work with at IHOP, I just wish I would have had more time to get to know her on a more personal basis. She was always such a positive, kind and gentle person, the co workers and all the guests loved her at IHOP.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but she is now among the angels and at peace, no more pain or struggles.
