My heart and prayers go out to Joslyn, Kay & John Ward, and Aprils 2 sons. You all will be in my prayers. April was very spiritual and she loved her Daugher and sons very much. She talked about them all the time. Rest in Peace April.

To our beautiful neice Joslyn and all her brothers, Grandmother Kay and Grandfather John Ward and other family members. Our prayers for strength and peace be with you all during this difficult time. April was a beautiful woman, so spiritual and her beliefs in Our Creator were very strong. She is at peace and at rest with Our Lord. She will forever be your angel Joslyn. Although we cannot be with you know that we are all with you in prayer. I always enjoyed visiting with April and she had a beautiful laugh. It was nice to see April and Joslyn last year while visiting Mom. Although miles and years separated our families we always had Joslyn and April close at prayer. God Bless you all this week and forever. With Love, Hugs and Prayers for the family as this is the hardest week to get through, Nilah and John Devaney.

To Joslyn, Izain and Family, A NATIVE AMERICAN PRAYER:
When I am dead, cry for me a litttle, think of me sometimes, but not too much. Think of me now and again as I was in life, at some moments its pleasant to recall, but not for long. Leave in peace and I shall leave you in peace and while you live, let your thoughts be with the living.
Joslyn T. Henry says
The significance of my Mothers Native American name is remarkable, and I feel I must share it with everyone. Her Native name is “She Who Walks in the Sunlight”. When April gave her Chanoopa to Katrina, to hold on to for one of her kids, there was a perfect circle around the sun. (Which I do have a picture of if anyone’s interested). Later on it finally hit me, when I was having one of the worst days. I glance over and see the candle I had it for her made the same exact reflection the sun did that day. That moment I knew the red road is the right path, or for others who don’t know what that means it means basically a sobriety spiritual life, and I know Aprils struggles were for the teachings she could pass on. She felt the dark to later become peaceful as the bright sun. She would want you to remember whenever you look at the sun to be proud of your heritage and who you are and to always follow your heart! For now April can be the light whenever we’re in a dark place. She will all show us a sign when she is there, could be different for everyone, but her presence is strong so you all should know.

I just was made aware of April’s passing. Joslyn, thank you for your post . Indeed April was the sun and shared wonderful visions for her family and her people. Her vision is with you now. I was blessed to be in her presence and will carry her grace and light with me. Blessings.

I woke up today heavy with fear and loss! I prayed to my Mother “please show me a sign” for I am lost and tangled with the fear! I swear as my blood is red that my closest and youngest brother Joel calls 10am this morning after 4 yrs of being locked up and ask me to come see him! I have no words that can explain! Love you MOM! My faith is strong and know I can find comfort in you watching over and guiding me on my journey!
