Arlene told me on Tuesday that she would like to try a Bear Claw next visit but that she was pretty sure Steve would stick to the maple bars…and we finally were able to finish an entire crossword puzzle. I was shocked to hear that Arlene passed away on Thursday. How very comforting that her passing was peaceful. I looked forward to our weekly visits and the friendship we developed. It was heartwarming to see the loving care that Arlene received from all of you, including Colby, during her end of life journey. You are in my thoughts at this very sad time.

I meet Arlene when we lived across the street from her Mother and Father on Lamborn. She and I would run into each other and have to catch up on all the gossip. She always had such a great sense of humor and a big smile and a great laugh! Sincere sympathy to the families of a great lady.
