My sympathy to Arlene’s family. I met her as a small girl when my Grandmother, Bertha Hodgson worked for her and Doc. Then when I married my husband and found out her and his Aunt Glada where best friends. You could always be sure of an honest response from Arlene. May she rest in peace.

Pam, Frank, and Jim: My thoughts are with you. I so remember the fun Arlene and my mother had together. What great friends they were. Many times I would make “fried chicken livers” for the two of them. How they enjoyed them with their cocktails.
