Bearett Skip Parriman “Baby Bear” was born on August 25th, 2023 in Helena, MT to Brittany Mayer and Cory Parriman.
Despite complications during delivery, Baby Bear miraculously pulled through and blessed his family and many others with four amazing months.
Baby Bear was the happiest boy and was always full of smiles. His love for his brothers was unmatched and some of his favorite times were cuddling with his brother Kessler every morning while Mom got ready for work. His brother Hank gave him a lifetime’s worth of kisses, and was obsessed with “his baby.” Bear’s favorite place was in his mama’s arms, and he took advantage of every opportunity to steal cuddles. When Dad came into the room, Bear’s face would always light up. He would belly-laugh when Dad would squish his cheeks and say, “fish face!”
While Mom and Dad were at work, he spent his days under the care of his godmother, Kelsey. They spent their days cuddling when other kids were sleeping and he loved Kelsey’s head rubs. Kelsey created an everlasting bond with Bear and was truly like a second mother to him.
In the early morning hours of January 6th, 2024, Jesus called Baby Bear home before our hearts were ready. During his short time on earth, he stole the hearts of the Mayer, Parriman, Walsh, Mikesell, Redfern, Stembridge, Enyeart, Johnson, Barnes, Tobol, and Taylor families; his best buddy Dylan at daycare; and many, many more beloved family members and friends.
Bearett was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Skip and Marlene Jo Mayer, James and Josie Walsh, W.L. “Ben” Parriman, and Bob and Myrna Rudio; great-aunt, Dallas (Parriman) Christman; family friends, Bill Leslie and Brian Wacker; and his two dogs, Dozer and Boone Dog.
Baby Bear is survived by his parents, Brittany Mayer and Cory Parriman; godmother, Kelsey Enyeart; brothers, Kessler and Henry “Hank” Parriman; grandparents, William (Rhonda) Mayer, Cassey (Wally) Parriman, and Julia Walsh; aunts and uncles, Katherine and James Mayer, Kristyna Rudio and Tristan Raymond; and cousins, Olivia, Verity, Albert, and Louise Mayer.
Brittany and Cory feel very blessed that they were able to love Baby Bear for the four months they were given and can’t wait for the day when they are reunited. They are jealous of everyone in Heaven who gets to hold him, look into his beautiful blue eyes, and witness his contagious smile.
Brittany and Cory hope others know that God has a plan for everyone, including Baby Bear. They feel secure in their knowledge that he is in Heaven with the Lord. God doesn’t take children, he receives them, and Brittany knows that Bear would want everyone to feel peace when thinking of him in Heaven, with God walking beside him.
Baby Bear was truly loved by all, especially the many friends that have turned into family.

Dear Cory and Brittany,
My heart weeps for you at the loss of your loving little boy, having lost my precious daughter, Jackie, 3 yrs. ago myself. I’m sure Jackie met Baby Bear at the gates of Heaven and welcomed him with open arms and showed him around to all her favorite places! I know that an hour doesn’t go by that you don’t think of your little angel and the impact he had on your’s and everyone else’s hearts in the short time that he blessed this Earth with his presence. Children are supposed to bury their parents, not the other way around. The grief journey takes many turns along the path and remember that there are so many people that are willing to pick you up when you trip because of the fog that currently clouds your mind. Memory loss from the trauma you have experienced is normal and a coping mechanism of your body to assure your survival. Your memory will return. I hope that some day the sun will shine in your lives again. Where there is sadness, love plants a garden of memories and I hope Baby Bear’s garden blooms brilliantly and forever for you!
I hope you feel the love extended to you from me, your family, and the community around you. God bless you and your families during this most difficult of times. You are loved.
