Ben (Benny) W. Hunt
On September 23, 2016, a perfect fall day in Helena, Montana, Benny traded the Big Sky country for heavenly hunting grounds. He was 75 years old.
His family coming first, Benny also loved hunting, fishing, blues and big band music, reading, and good conversation. He had a passion for Brittany bird dogs and was involved with several Brittany Clubs. He lived his life according to his deep Catholic faith and strong moral values. His sense of humor, good advice, kind heart and generosity, wealth of knowledge, and his great BBQ will be missed by his family and many friends.
Survivors include: Jackie, his wife of 51 years; his children, Karen (Perry) Donnafield, Matt Hunt, Andy Hunt; four grandchildren, Sadie and Josie Donnafield, Juney and Wyatt Hunt; sister, Judy (Roger) Cornell and brother, Terry (Teresa) Hunt. His parents, Martha and Ben Hunt, and sister, Sandra Brown preceded him in death.
Benny was most known for his generosity to anyone in need. In lieu of flowers and donations, please “pay it forward” in his memory. Please visit below to offer a condolence to the family or to share a memory of Benny.
