Bertha and I grew up together in Sunburst, Montana. She was one of my dearest friends, and we always kept in touch via Christmas letters. I am so glad that I got to spend time with Bertha at the last class reunion. I loved her and her sense of humor. Rest in peace.
Love, Joan

There are so many memories I have that I can not begin to share them all. She was always there for me. I remember when I was old enough that I wanted to make some money but too young to have a job. She found things for me to do. Washing walls and windows! She was there when my children were born and growing up. Such fond memories of them being with her, and her a Leo treating them as if they were there own grandchildren. I value all the time we spent together, weekly lunches, dinner and dominoes, and Holiday dinners. I will miss you! Love, Kimmer

Bert was always so positive and caring. Bert & Leo always welcomed you to their home. The visits we had are memories now. A my little sister I didn’t want to be bothered by her questions, so I just would ignore her. I guess big sister are like that. Our adult years were different though, visited, talked often and shared memories, especially our trip to Canada with all of our sisters but Doris & Betty. Shirley who lives in Canada also went on our adventure to Edmonton. They were all upset with me as I wouldn’t stop to eat. They reminded me of that many times. Miss you Bert. With love, Barbara Barbara

Bert was a very loving person, always there when you needed someone, I so enjoyed my time with Bert and Leo in Helena. When my family needed help Bert and Leo were there, I will never forget their kindness. She always made you laugh, here humor always lifted me when I was down. I got to visit with Bert when I returned to Montana July 5, it warmed my heart to talk for just a short time and this time I made her smile. I love you with all my heart gonna miss you Bert.
