Beverly Odell Miller Matkovich, 79 of Lincoln, formerly of York and Great Falls died of natural causes Sunday May 1, 2011 in Helena.
Beverly was born in Jamestown, North Dakota August 25, 1931 to Vehlo and Goldie (Mitzel) Miller. She graduated high school in Jamestown and continued her education attending Jamestown College. Beverly worked with her husband and life-long partner Steve Matkovich at Steve’s Sheet Metal in Great Falls.
She raised her three children, Vicki, Stephen and Karen Kay and enjoyed assisting her children, sitting and spending time with grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her pastime was spent bowling, baking, poker machines, bingo, dancing, horse racing and her pets.
Beverly was precede in death by her life-time partner Steve, November 28, 2009; she was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters and great grandson, Talon.
Beverly is survived by her daughters, Vicki (Ken) Krause of Lincoln, Karen Kay Acord of Lincoln; son, Stephen Matkovich, Jr. of Great Falls; grandchildren, Gayle (Ty)Steinbach, Mark (Nellie) Acord, Jr. Josh (Kenda) Acord, Nicholas Acord, Brett Matkovich, Neoma Matkovich, Stephen Matkovich III, Steve Hajeck, and Shawnna (Aaron) Daniels; great grandchildren, Karly, Brodie, JeriLyn, Avery, Mia, Stevie, Rianna, Makeen, Brandon, Jehta, Ashton, Kia, Jennarecia, Jadyn, Jessika, Wade and Justin. She is will also be missed by her dog, Chewie and cat DC.
A social gathering celebrating and remembering the life of Beverly will be held June 14, 2011 at the Bootlegger Casino in Lincoln.
