Beverley “Miz Bev” Marie Wick, born on March 20, 1953 in Big Timber, Montana, to Bernice Wick and the late Herbert Wick, passed away at age 66 on March 29, 2019 in Helena, Montana surrounded by family. Beverley served and retired from the Air Force where she worked as a carpenter. She graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in graphic design. Since her early military career, she volunteered with Toys for Tots as part of her lifelong passion for children in need. She never hesitated to help anyone, always making everyone part of her family. Her love of life touched all that met and knew her regardless to their station or circumstance. A true angel of compassion for those that knew her.
Beverley was preceded in death by her brother, Wilbur Wick. She is survived by her sons, David Lee and Michael Lee; brother, Michael Wick; sisters, Minnie Douglas, Carolyn Purcell, Kathy Bridgewater, Iva Wick, Lois Wick, and Mary Stuber; grandchildren, Alexis Medina-Lee, Galen Medina-Lee, Rowan Medina-Lee, Shelby Lee, and Myles Lee; aunts, Darlene Fahrenbuch, Marlene Bauer, uncle, Raymond Prevost; Best Friend, Tammy Laib; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her cat, Midnight and dog, Praylene. Beverley enjoyed knitting, crocheting, painting, and being “The Gamer Grandma.”
A graveside service with full military honors will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 8th at the Montana State Veterans Cemetery, Fort Harrison. A celebration of life will immediately follow the burial at The Valley Hub, 4960 North Montana Ave., Helena. Beverly was a veteran who always upheld the military and was a patriot who loved her country.She was a talker and very sociable and loved her home state of Montana.She was dedicated to her wonderful boys David and Mikey.She had a love of animals and helping others whenever she could.Even though she had health problems she kept her head high and fought the good fight.She will be missed by her many friends and family.
