I REMEMBER DUMAS BILLIE,S SIAMESE CAT THAT WOULD TRAVEL EVERY WHERE WITH HER AND FOR SOME REASON DUMAS WAS ALSO KNOWN AS DUMAS THE QUEER KITTY AND BILLIE WOULD SAY BECAUSE DUMAS THOUGHT HE WAS A GIRL. I KNOW THAT BILLIE LIKED TO GO PICK HUCKLEBERRIES AND WHEN I WAS YOUNGER I WENT ALOT OF TIMES WITH HER. SOME OF THE BEST TIMES WERE WHEN WE WOULD HAVE BIG BREAKFASTS OVER AN OPEN FIRE AT THE CABIN WITH BILLIE MOM AND DADAD CAROL AND ALL OF US KIDS AND
FAMILY BACK THEN THE CABIN DIDNT HAVE RUNNING WATER AND BILLIE AND MY MOTHER CAROL AND MY GRANDMOTHER MOM WOULD BOIL WATER AND FILL UP A TUB AND ALL US KIDS KNEW IT WAS BATH TIME AND ALL THE GALS WOULD BE ASKING NOW THATS NOT TO HOT IS IT HONEY. WHEN MY GRAND MOTHER WAS IN A NURSING HOME IN KALISPEL WE WOULD STAY WITH BILLIE AND JOHN AND WE WOULD HAVE DINNER AND HOT TUB, SHE ALSO LOVED HER DOLLS AND AT THE NURSING HOME SHE WOULD GO THERE AND DO ALL THE LADIES FINGERNAILS AND ALL THE LADIES JUST LOVED THAT I JUST WANTED TO SAY A FEW THINGS ABOUT WHAT I REMEMBERED ABOUT BILLIE

My memories of dear Billie are mostly with my wife Carol. They were wonderful together, most always laughing about anything and everything.. Always on the phone, chatting about the latest with family, friends, where they’d like to travel. There was an eternal love between them, through slight disagreements, helpful suggestions, and the knowledge of complete trust. I always enjoyed our visits with Billie. Never, ever a dull moment; she would bring extra life to all occasions. Those will be missed and there’ll continue to be precious moments her spirit will be with us, eternal moments. Billie, you are together with us now,

Billie Ann was a wonderful spirit and such a sweet person. As a child, I loved going with my mother (Tiny) to visit her and John in Kalispell because I could look at her amazing doll collection. Through Billie’s love of dolls, she inspired me to start my own doll collection, which will now be passed down to my daughter as I have learned she loves dolls as much as I did.
Billie Ann loved animals and was such a good caretaker to the lucky few who were in her life. I’m sad I didn’t get a chance to introduce my daughter to Billie before she passed. I can only hope she continues to spread her light on the other side.

I will always consider Billie to be one of my “mothers”. She taught me so much in life and I will never forget her. She was at one time married to my father and always treated me just like her daughter. I could never thank her enough for everything she did for me and I loved her very very much and will miss her.
Laurie Gendrow Kohler says
Thank you everyone for sharing your thoughts and memories. We all miss her but we know she is lighting up heaven while taking care of others. Love her so much.
