Boyd Gilbert Andrew passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 13, at the age of 70.
Boyd was born on June 6, 1952, in Honolulu, HI, to Boyd and Pauline Andrew. He grew up in Boulder, MT. He enlisted in the Army in 1969 and was deployed in Vietnam until 1972.
After his military service, Boyd married Lorelee Trettin, and they had two children: Heidi and David.
Boyd later Married Bobbi Halvorson, and they have enjoyed spending time at their home in Helena. Boyd retired from Northwestern Energy (Montana Power) as a Journeyman Line-Foreman after over 40 years with the company.
Boyd enjoyed gardening, canning, riding ATVs, camping in the mountains, restoring a historical cabin on his property, and spending time with friends and family.
Boyd was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Pauline Andrew, and his brother John Andrew. He left behind his wife Bobbi Andrew; his daughter Heidi (Ron) Durbin of Kalispell, MT, and their children Amber, Tyler, and Haley; his son David Andrew of Helena and his children Devyn and Dakota of Virginia.
Boyd will be greatly missed, his home was always a gathering place for his friends and family.
Boyd will be buried with full military honors on July 1, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Fort Harrison, followed by a reception at his home, 4525 Valley Drive in Helena, MT.
