Bradley “Brad” Stephen Cuyle, 55, passed away on May 18th 2016 with his loving wife by his side. Brad was born on September 12th 1960 to Clifford Ray Cuyle and Phyllis Jean Cuyle. Brad was born in, and lived many of his younger years, in Yakima, Washington. As a young child and adolescent, Brad played in apple orchards and enjoyed exploring the railroads and rivers of Yakima on his bike with his best friends. He also enjoyed camping and hunting with his father and grandfather. He graduated Davis High School in 1979. Throughout his early adult life, Brad enjoyed working on the pit crew for his Uncle Dale and Cousin Ron Connelly’s race team. This love of racing extended to his adult life with his interest in NASCAR. As an early adult he also loved to “drag the Ave.” During one of these adventures he met, and ultimately fell in love with, the love of his life: Debbie Kay Cuyle. Brad married Debbie on August 20th 1983 and together they had two beautiful children, Nicolais Stephen Cuyle and Emily Jo Cuyle.
Brad and his family moved to Lincoln, Montana where Brad continued to share his love of adventure with his wife and kids. He enjoyed many walks with his wife and kids, fishing the Blackfoot River, “picking” trees, and floating on Snowbank Lake. “B-rad the Dad” enjoyed working in his garage and tackling tough projects around his home, which he completely renovated with the help of his son. There wasn’t ANYTHING Brad could not do! He was a very hard worker and would not give up on anything. Brad was quiet and thoughtful but was always there for anyone who needed help. He exhibited small acts of kindness throughout his life and touched many hearts with his simple loving gestures, his gentle and kind demeanor, his hilarious sense of humor, his warm and inviting smile, as well as his strong, warm hugs and “high-fives.” There simply aren’t enough words to describe such a gentle, kind, and loving person, but frankly, he wouldn’t want “a big fuss” made. He would want all the fun and loving times had with his many friends and family to be cherished in memory more than mere words on paper.
Brad will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Debbie Cuyle, his son and daughter-in-law, Nicolais and Tara Cuyle (Grubb), his daughter, Emily Jo Cuyle, and his “fur-baby” and best-friend, Romeo. He will also be dearly missed by his sister Debbie Courcy (Cuyle) and many other family and friends across Montana and Washington. Until his loved ones see him again in Heaven, Brad is now in the loving embrace of his mother and father, Clifford and Phyllis Cuyle, his beloved Uncle Dale, and his sister, Colleen Jenkins (Cuyle). Brad’s family will be holding a private celebration of his life in Lincoln, MT on Sunday, May 29th. At the family’s request, please do not send flowers. Please visit below to offer the family a condolence or to share a memory of Brad.

Dear Debbie, Nic and Emily,
I can’t imagine how very difficult this past week has been for the three of you, I still have difficulty believing it all has happened myself. Nic and Emily, I know the distance has kept me away from your family for many years and I don’t know either of you very well. But I know your mom and your dad and I recall very fondly when they were just excited newlyweds starting out in their very first home. Visiting you all last summer gave me a glimpse of the wonderful life and family that you all have shared. Debbie, it is unusual in this day and age to see a couple share a love as deep as you and Brad had for each other. I know there are not words that will make the next weeks and months easier for your family but I hope looking back and seeing the love and the closeness that you all shared will help pull you through. You all are in my thoughts, my heart and my prayers. Hugs and love to you all.

Debbie, Nick and Emily – I didn’t know Brad very well, but I do know you are all a close and loving family. I don’t think you let a moment of time together slip away without taking advantage of it. I hope each of you can take comfort in that. You are in our thoughts…
Maureen "Enie" Fisher and Lisa Fisher says
Dearest friend Debbie, Nic & Emily and extended family . Our hearts were absolutely broken when we learned that Our Dear Lord had closed this chapter of your precious Brad’s life. He was one of the most amazing men that we had ever met. So young, and so very special was his time here with us. Our heartfelt thoughts and Prayers are with all of you and your entire family. Cherish all the memories that you can muster and keep them close. He will never be replaced. Please give a hug to someone in need every day as he would. We will miss those warm and kind hugs and his special smile. God Bless and watch over all of you now and forever!
Shelly Wyatt says
Knowing Brad as a young man and having him and his family live down the street from me allowed me to get to know Brad. He was always a kind soul, soft spoken, and had a great sense of humor. He was so happy when he met Debbie and the day they got married, I have never seen a happier groom. I was fortunate to visit Brad and Debbie a few summers ago, and of course Brad was the same soft spoken, kind person he always was. I admired his passion for life and for his commitment to his family. Brad is the example of a good man who honored his family.
James Moberly says
Growing up with Bradley in Yakima was a kids perfect dream. Brad, Joel and Jamie were the three musketeers playing three man baseball, riding our bikes everywhere and hunting quail along the Naches river were just a few of the things that created a lifelong bond. My friend Bradley had so many amazing qualities that have inspired and influenced my life and I realize how difficult this sudden loss must be for you. You have my deepest sympathy.
Williams Family says
Condolences to the Cuyle family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your whole family. Psalms 147:3 says God, “heals the broken hearted, and binds up their wounds.” May God bring you comfort and peace.
