Bradly Scheet, whose gregarious personality, ready laugh and ability to connect with people, led him to a successful 25-year career in sales, died May 23rd in Helena after a long illness, He was 62.
Brad was born Jan, 27, 1961, in Helena, the eldest of Gerald and Ethel Scheet’s three children. He graduated from Helena High School in 1979 and attended the University of Montana and Montana State University, where he was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity.
In 1982, he began working as an outside salesman for AmFac, a wholesale plumbing supply company, and traveled extensively to reach his customers. In September of that year, he married Lori Emmert and they lived for a time in Helena, Albuquerque, and Kalispell while he was employed by the company.

Despite numerous health challenges, Brad approached everything he did with gusto and humor. He had the kind of big heart that made him willing to do anything for anybody. He was a happy man, with lots of friends and an ability to charm everyone he met with a ready smile. His photographic memory allowed him to visit a large city and, upon, returning years later, recall the layout of streets and find his way around as if he lived there. His ability to easily remember the names of people he met made him a favorite among customers throughout the country.
