Callie Mae Seifert Romig, age 78, of Helena passed away of natural causes Friday, March 15, 2024, in Helena. Callie was born December 11, 1945, in Hardin, Montana to Valentine John and Lilly Bell (Christian) Seifert. Her hometown was Huntley Project, Montana where she received her education. Callie and Fred John Romig, Jr. were married, September 18, 1972, in Havre, Montana. She was a homemaker the better part of her life and loved wifely duties. She also loved to dance and play Bingo. Callie was raised Catholic as a child and of the Baptist faith in her adult years.
Callie was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John LeRoy Seifert and Earl Ray Seifert and her husband Fred. She is survived by two stepdaughters, Sheri L. McNeil the other requested her name not be published. Callie is also survived by her sister, Mary Diane Seifert
A funeral service celebrating Callie’s life will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the Masonic Home of Montana Chapel. A reception will follow in the social center of the Masonic Home. Interment will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday April 4, 2024, at Manchester Cemetery near Great Falls.
