My heart goes out to my friend Alex and her family. I’m so sorry for your loss. I have heard so much about Carol from Alex. I was blessed to have met Carol at Alex’s open house. Carol was lovely. She was so nice to visit with and I know she will be so missed. Prayers for your family and visit the memories for that is what helps us through this.

It was a privilege to know Carol. She was a caring, generous, and giving human being and a fantastic teacher! I remember when I started teaching Kindergarten and she allowed me to shadow her classes for a while and help me prepare for these new classes. Leslie, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Your mom was such a special person for Plymouth and for us! We will miss her a great deal. We will not be attending the memorial service, so please know that we carry our love for her and our concern for all of you with us as you mourn her death and celebrate her life.

Bruce and family, Carol welcomed us when we were teens with a smile and always had extra swimming suits for all to enjoy the amazing pool. My daughter Kendra was fortunate enough to have her as her preschool teacher and took swimming lessons at her home. What a gift for all of you to have such a giving, vibrant mother.

Memories of Carol go back a very long time. It started in the Young at Heart Senior Fitness Class around 30 years ago. I taught the class with Mary Kay Bennett (or should I say they taught us about life, grace, and perseverance). Carol was a caring, smiling presence, even though she had her mountains to climb as well. She and the “other Carol” (Crowley) participated in a group trip down to Palm Springs where we had too many laughs to count, enjoying the Follies, the Living Desert, the hot tub, and good food. Back in the day, Carol joined the class on many demos (even to Fairmont Hot Springs!) of the benefits of fitness for seniors. It was always another reason for social time, food, and laughs. Carol opened her home for some spring YAH socials on her beautiful patio near her beloved pool. Carol has enriched my life, and helped me grow, as she has for many others. She has left a very positive footprint on this earth and continues now with our Father and other loved ones who have passed to our eternal reward. My love to Carol’s family…..Carol is swimming and dancing again. Judy Palmquist

Carol was a wonderfully kind and sweet person. She was my kindergarten teacher some fifty odd years ago. I was fortunate enough to run into her at Gary Bloms office. It was wonderful to be able to see and talk to her. My thoughts and prayer are with the family.

Rich and family, I was so sorry to hear about your Mom’s passing. May God give you comfort through this difficult and sad time.

Dear Dunkle Family, We have very fond memories of Carol. She was a special loving and giving person. In fact my husband and I were just talking about when his boys were in her preschool and swimming lessons and how much they learned from her. She had a positive impact on many people over the years. I also knew her from Church. May God comfort you all during this difficult time.
