It was with great shock and sadness that we read about your Mom in the paper today.
What a lot of wonderful memories we have of Carol and also Warren. Carol had the most infectious laugh of anyone I’ve known. I will always remember her laughing at one of Al Skogen’s skits, she had us all in stitches laughing at her laughing at Al! Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your families. God Bless you.

Jill and family,
I’m so sorry to read about the loss of your mom. It was always a breath of fresh air when she would come to the Post Office in Arlee; and then when I transferred to the East Helena Post Office, your folks followed right along so I still got to see her there.
I have nothing but good memories of them both.
She will be missed for sure.
God Bless you, real good.

I am very sad to hear about Carol. She was a good friend from HS…and the summer after we were graduated, both worked in Minneapolis and lived in a club for girls for a while until we found an apartment with four other girls…we had such a good time that summer. But what I will really remember was one day, Connie Gilberts and I went to visit Carol, after she and Warren were married and living in Chetek. We walked in and Carol had a hammer in hand and was knocking down a wall! She wanted more space in the kitchen and the only way to do it was to get rid of the wall. Many years later, we did keep in touch and she came to Phoenix to see me. She was enroute to somewhere..and left her car in my driveway while she was gone. We had such a great visit for a couple of days. My cat, monster, just loved Carol and kept her company in the guest room. We did keep in touch by phone sporadically…always meaning to “get together” sometime during the winter in AZ..even after I moved back to WI. I am so sorry that she is gone…and my deepest condolences to her girls and their families..she loved them deeply. She was so much fun and loved “happy hour” when they were at their different spots during the winter months..she would tell me stories about Tom Stansbury and his wife, who she and Warren used to winter with at the same spots. Tom was also in our HS class in Colfax, WI. I guess it is too late now to take a trip to see Carol in AZ or TX this winter. So sad that we do not keep in touch and have regrets about what should have been. Rest in peace my friend….I will always remember Warren saying..when I would call and he would answer the phone..”just a minute, I will get my beautiful wife for you”….they had a special bond not found in many couples.

Greetings to you my Dearest I’m Mrs. Rosemary Grace an ageing widow suffering from long time illness. I’m currently admitted in a privet hospital here, and I have some funds I inherited from my late loving husband Dr. Benjamin M. I found your email address on the internet and decided to contact you. Please if you would be able to use these funds for the Lord’s work kindly reply me. (rosmarygrace@yahoo.fr)
