In Memory Of

Carol Lee Bennett, age 67, of Helena

January 31, 1952 – May 24, 2019

Carol Lee Bennett, 67, passed on from her earthly life to reside eternally with our Heavenly Father on May 25th, 2019 in her home in Helena, Montana.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on Thursday June 13th, 7pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. 1610 E 6th Ave Helena, Montana. A family memorial will take place at a later date in her hometown of Lincoln, NE.

Carol was born and raised in Lincoln, NE. Throughout her life she has lived in many places but spent the last 3 years here in Helena to be close to her only child, Michelle Figler, and 3 beloved grandsons (Ryder -10, Roman – 9 & Tristan – 6).  She brought joy into the lives her family and was always there to help out in any grandmotherly way possible. Being a Grandma was her most honored occupation and she held a very special place in the hearts of her Grandsons. They loved helping and assisting grandma as much as she loved having them around.

She was also an irreplaceable source of support and assistance to her daughter in the raising of the 3 boys.

Carol was a cherished Daughter to Lynn & Leila Heusinkvelt of Lincoln, Nebraska. She is also survived by 3 beloved sisters: Leanne Bedore (Lisle, Illinois), Connie Bennett (Centennial, Colorado) and Amy Joyce (Rogers, Arkansas). She is preceded in death by her Father Loren Bennett (Lincoln, Nebraska) and her Brother-in Law Christopher Bedore (Lisle, Illinois).

Carol struggled with many health issues over her lifetime, being a diabetic since age 5. Despite her pain and struggles she always remained as active as she could and enjoyed life fully.

Carol was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but also participated in a small church group for the residents of Eagles Manor where she lived. She loved the Lord and enjoyed serving him through all her church activities.

She will be deeply missed by her family here on earth. We are comforted by knowing she is not far away and we will someday be reunited with her.  Until that day, she is loved, missed and her loss will be felt each and every day.
