Carol “Chic” Rotering, 69 of Helena, MT died at ST. Peter’s Hospital on December 1, 2014.
Chic was born in Butte, MT on March 29, 1945 to Harvey and Violet (Jaramus) King.
Chic married Nick Rotering on August 29, 1964 in Helena, MT. Together they had two children, Nick and Melena.
Chic was a member of the Moose Lodge in Helena. She will be remembered as a kind and caring friend and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her children, Nick Rotering of Portland, OR and Melena (Thomas) Randall of Missoula; granddaughter, Cecilia Randall; sister-in-law, Diane (Jim) Kilbourne, of Falls Church, VA; nephew and niece Jae and Sarah Kilbourne.
Chic was preceded in death by her husband Nick Rotering; parents Harvey and Violet King; brothers, Jack Bigovich and Daniel King.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Wally and my prayers go out to you Malina and your family at this difficult time. Wally worked with Chic at Capital City Bowl for several years, and we kept in touch over the years with her and Nick. We would sit and visit while playing a machine, or just relax and chat. Chic was a special gal and will be missed by everyone who knew her. Take care Malina.
