Kathe and Milton Crum says
In 2007, when we moved into Touchmark (then Waterford), Carolyn welcomed us as neighbors on her hall. She was always a friend to us and our dog until she moved into Aspen Gardens for assisted living. In 2013, when we also moved into Aspen Gardens, Carolyn was there to welcome us to her table in House #9. She was tireless in writing cards for residents’ birthdays and sickness. Her humor and friendliness will be sorely missed by us.

My mom, Ingrid, was lucky enough to be in the same house at Aspen Gardens as Carolyn. She had such a great sense of humor. I remember her sitting down for dinner with her friend, Brad, and laugh, and laugh over different things. She would get the biggest kick out of different cards that she got from her family. My sisters and I had dinner there one night for everyone, and Carolyn wrote us the nicest thank you card, I still have it in my treasures. Carolyn was always so nice to my mom too. I loved her giggle.

I am so sorry to learn of Carolyn’s passing. My condolences to the family. I had it in my mind to go and visit Carolyn and now I regret not having done so sooner. Carolyn was a support to Charles during the time that he was alive. She was always thoughtful about sending cards when they were needed. I remember stories about her time working at the Parrot. I tried to come up with jokes to tell her just so that I would be rewarded with that infectious laugh of hers; that I won’t forget.
Beverly and Janet Tatz says
My mother, Beverly, was good friends with Carolyn when they both lived at Touchmark ( during the time it was known as The Waterford). They enjoyed each other’s company very much and Carolyn’s ready smile and positive attitude was a gift to my mother. They both enjoyed sending cards to people and corresponding by mail and continued their friendship once my mother moved away from Touchmark. My mother wishes to convey her sincere condolences on the loss of your dear relative.
