Catherine Marie Steliga, age 70, of Helena, passed away September 3, 2016 in Helena from Alzheimer’s disease.
Catherine was born on December 30, 1945 in Flint, Michigan to Robert Arthur Bennett and Florence Anita Krotoschenski. She graduated from high school and attended some college. She married Anthony Steliga on August 12, 1989 in Elko, Nevada and he preceded her in death on May 10, 1994.
Catherine worked in accounting most of her working career. She loved to read books, do crafts, and quilting. She was a member of the Catholic Church.
Catherine is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her children, Robert (Christy) Hughes and Gina (Robert) Cabrera; brother, Robert Bennett; and grandchildren, Chris Cabrera, Chad Cabrera, Marcus Hughes, Trenten Hughes, Kylee Hughes, and Mishka Glasen.
