Charles G. Brewster, 70, of Choteau, passed away on May 19, 2012. He was born in Choteau, MT on August 24, 1941 to James Brewster and Jennie Fitzsimmons.
Charlie had two enlistments in the United States Army. The first enlistment he served in Korea from August of 1958 through August of 1961. The second enlistment he served in Germany from July of 1962 through October of 1965.
After he left the Army, he worked in California, Oregon, Washington and Idaho, but he always came back to Choteau where he liked to live. Charlie worked on ranches and drove truck most of his life. The past 30 years he especially enjoyed working for Lane Yeager on the Rusty Nail Ranch near Choteau.
He was preceded in death by his only child, Wayne C. Brewster; his brother, Jim Brewster of Choteau; and sisters, Helen Orm of Choteau and Kathleen Jacobson of Kennewick, WA.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Choteau Cemetery with a reception to immediately follow at the American Legion in Choteau.
