Chuck as we called him, was a good friend and we loved having him come to Missoula, stay at our house & attend the Griz games with us. My wife and I shared many fun evenings with him and he shared some great stories. He lived a very full and eventful life. He was a serious person yet was a caring man. We got to know him beyond that serious side and discovered a very emotional and loving person.
We have known him for over 25 years. I went on a very memorable pheasant hunting trip with him several years ago and we had a ton of fun.
He loved his dogs(he had many over his life) and he was passionate about fishing and pheasant hunting. He was a paratrooper in the armed services, a fishing guide, had his pilot’s license (years ago) and practiced law right up to the last day. He was a very sharp man.
He was almost 30 years my senior and we enjoyed our time together, telling stories over a glass of wine and some excellent BBQ, he was a pit master for sure. We both shared a passion for dogs, birds, fishing and of course as U of M alum, the Griz.
    We will miss Chuck

Chuck was a very interesting guy: attorney, pilot, dog lover. I always enjoyed being around him; he will be missed. Peace to his family.
