Charlie Ann Wyrick, age 26, of Helena departed this world for heaven with the angels about on December 21, 2015.
Charlie is survived by her son, Harley Beckworth (his father, Mike Beckworth) and Step daughter, Hayden Beckworth; mother, Crystal Wyrick (Trampis Holbrook); father, Charles Straight Jr.; brothers, Charles Wyrick, Maxwell Straight and Rex Straight; step brothers, Cody Straight and Isaiah Wolcott; step sisters, Cheyenne Wolcott-Holbrook and LeAnna Hayford; maternal grandparents, Lucy (Tim) Carlson, James (Linda) Wyrick and Patty Holbrook; paternal grandparents, Mary (Gaylynn) Frenick, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and friends, whom she loved deeply. She is preceded in death by her brother, Harley Straight; grandfather, Charles Straight Sr. and great grandparents, Sonny and Betty Madison and Bill and Eileen Frenick; Aunt, Beth Hohn.
Charlie was born on October 25, 1989, in Helena. She attended grade school in Helena, Page, Arizona and High school in Boulder and Helena. Charlie got her first job with the Independent Record as a paper route deliverer. After high school she worked at various businesses including: ShopKo, Walgreens Photo Lab, Overland Express, IHop, JB’s, and Costco. In 2013 Charlie moved to Missoula and worked at Safeway and The Pattee Canyon Market.
Charlie loved the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed camping, football (Cowboys!), Nascar (Jeff Gordon!), barbequing and riding horses. Another one of her passions was photography and editing photos. But most of all, Charlie’s pure joy was doing arts and crafts with her son Harley, taking him Swimming and to the park. Her bubbly, Spirited personality will be missed by all.
A memorial service celebrating Charlie’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 9th at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 3750 N. Montana Ave. A potluck reception will follow the service in the social center of the funeral home. I got acquainted with Charlie when she and the rest of her siblings attended a Vacation Bible School at Jefferson City. She enjoyed the week and was a great help. I’m so at a loss for words and truly deeply sorry for your loss!! She’s going to be missed by so so many!!
I only found about her passing a year ago (2023).
I remember Charlie and Amanda would hang out and Amanda teaching her sign language and Charlie being proud of all the new words she learned!! And the time we all went camping and we got markers and marked the kids faces and turned the tent all the way around to make it look like they got left behind!! So many more happy memories to many to add will forever be in my heart!!
