Christopher Eugene Drake suddenly passed away April 28, 2017 in Helena, MT. Chris was born to Doug Drake and Linda Snyder on September 4, 1981 in Libby, MT.
Chris was a hard and dependable worker. He worked at BMC for 11 years until becoming a roofer.
On August 29, 2005 Chris married Wendy in Elko, NV. They welcomed two beautiful children; daughter, Kyleigh Drake and son, Tommy Drake.
Chris had countless passions and hobbies. He especially loved the mountains and outdoor activities; fishing, snowboarding, bowling, softball and pool were among some of his favorites. Chris also enjoyed working out. He cherished taking his children camping and equally cherished fishing trips with his dad. He could fix anything that broke and loved to cook. He valued trips back home to Libby where he would spend time with his family and adored his sisters, Emily and Chelsey and his two cousins, Tom and Will Drake.
He will be sorely missed. He is survived by wife, Wendy Drake, children, Kyleigh and Tommy, parents, Doug and Julie, siblings, Emily (James) Magone, Chelsey Drake, brother-in-laws, James and Randy Lacey, grandparents Eugene and Hazel Drake and Bernie Enger.
He is preceded in death by grandparents; Betty Overbe, Ida Norstebon, Morris Norstebon and brother, Danny Drake.
A service celebrating Chris’ life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 7th at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 3750 N. Montana Ave. A pot-luck reception will follow the service in the social hall of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Chris’ name are suggested to Friendship Center of Helena, 1430 N.
