Our beloved Daughter, Mother, Wife, Sister and Friend was called home to our Heavenly Father suddenly in the early morning hours of March 2nd, 2024. Christy was born at George Air Force Base in Victorville, California on July 21, 1970. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She attended schools in both Bountiful Utah and Helena; graduating from Helena High School in 1988. She then attended Eastern Montana to further her education. Christy was always a worker. While attending Helena High she worked part time at Taco Bell and Hendrickson Miller and Associates. Christy was very talented in dance and cheer. She was a Varsity Cheerleader along with her friend Kim, beginning in 9th grade for four years. This was unheard for a 9th grader to be in Varsity cheer. She was a member of the Razzles Dazzles, which was formed based on her and her Sister Lisa, by her Uncle Jerry. Christy actually came up with the name Razzle Dazzles along with her Mother. She Loved Cheer and dance and performing at Local High Schools, Colleges, Utah Jazz, Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Supersonics, along with the University of Washington and University of Idaho. Performing at the Calgary Stampede, Last Chance Stampede and Parade were among her favorites. Christy Married Richard Shoquist on June 27, 1998 in Helena, MT. The love of her life, Landon was born April 24, 2000. She was a Loving and proud Mother; a perfectionist, meticulous in all things. She was a licensed Insurance Agent, working in her Mother’s office for 12 years. Christy loved and cared deeply for others. Always caring and concerned for their welfare.
No words can express our love for Christy. Every conversation or text from her always ended with how much she loved you! We love you the MOST, Christy! She loved to be around her family and the time spent with them at family dinners and functions.
She was preceded in death by her Grandmother and Grandfather Reisbeck, Aunt Judy, Uncle Jerry, in laws Don and Rosalie Shoquist.
She is survived by her Son Landon Shoquist, Husband Richard Shoquist, Mother Lynda Reisbeck, Sister and Brother-in-law, Lisa and Mick Delude, Sister-in-law Jane Powell, Nephew Nicholas Delude and wife Shelby Rogala, Niece Kristen Brockway, Niece Hayden Salvesen and Nephew Robert Delude, Uncle Dixon Reisbeck and wife Ruth, Aunt Sheila Reisbeck and numerous cousins.
