Cierra Rose ‘Roo’ McAuley was born April 11, 2013 to Dale McAuley and Kimberly Feigert in Billings, MT. She was born with medical issues including a Heart Defect and Downs Syndrome.
Cierra had heart surgery in Denver, Colorado on November 26, 2013. She spent the holidays in Denver with her parents away from her sisters, Haley and Justa, and other family members. She could not overcome the complications after her surgery. She went on her journey to heaven January 4, 2014. She joined her cousin, Jusdes Troy Gelina.
Cierra always had a twinkle in her eye and loved being played with and held. “She is the sunshine in our hair. She is the diamond in the sky. She is our ‘golden’ angel.”
Cierra was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gene and Elsie Barnard and Clarence and Esther Feigert. She is survived by her parents, Dale McAuley and Kimberly Feigert; sisters, Haley and Justa McAuley; grandparents, Teresa ‘Tess’ and Jim ‘Papa Jim’ Hauso of Miles City, MT, Robert and Charlene McAuley of Malta, MT; great-grandmother, Nancie Grewatz of Helena; great aunt, Amanda Grewatz of Helena; aunt, Danielle (Scott) Ditmer of MT; cousins, Corday Boone and Jaydin Grewatz. Also surviving are close friends, Angell and Jamie Paige, Heather, Jack, and Tiyawni Ward; and many other friends that she touched.
A visitation is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral is set for 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2014 at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home with burial to follow at Forestvale Cemetery. A potluck reception will be held at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Social Hall after the burial. A Memorial Fund has been set up at Valley Bank in the name of Dale and Kimberly to offset expenses.
