Claire “Buck” Hart, age 76, of Valier formerly Helena

Claire “Buck” Hart, 76, of Valier passed away September 6, 2018 at Pondera Medical Center. Buck was born in Oshkosh, WI on October 5, 1941 to Claire William Hart and Lorraine Emma Calkins.  Buck was an extremely stubborn, strong willed father, grandfather and husband.  Buck met the love of his life Debra Hart in Omro, WI where they fell in love.  Later Buck and Debbie moved to Arkansas where they were married March 31, 1977.  Buck then received a certificate in truck driving and later a certificate in meat cutting.  Buck and Debbie had three girls Trish, Tara, and Jade.  After traveling to many different states Buck and Debbie choose to call Montana home.  Buck enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating, horse back riding, hockey, football, stock car races, boxing, wresting and spending time with his grand kids.  Buck had many accomplishments during his life that he was proud of such as being and outstanding salesman, supporting his daughters with all their goals and accomplishments, becoming a hunter’s safety instructor, and he was also a big part of the Helena Big Horn Hockey Team.  Buck is survived by his three daughters Trish Gehring, Tara Hart, and Jade Barrow.  His son in laws Justin Gehring, Chad Rambo, and Jason Barrow and his 8 grand children Ellie Williams, Hayden Hart-Davidson, Haley Hart, Kascidy Barrow, Tiegan Rambo, Raechal Rambo, Cinch Gehring, and Blake Gehring.

Family will receive friends 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Anderson Stevenson Wilke funeral home, 3750 N Montana Ave. A Time of Remembrance service will follow at ASW.
