Cynthia F. Susag, 54 of Helena passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 following an extended illness.
She was born February 9, 1959 in Helena to Robert and Beverly Susag. She attended school in East Helena and Helena.
Cindy enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, softball, water skiing, snow skiing, riding horses, unicycles and motorcycles. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends!
Cindy married Robert Miller Jr. on May 26, 1978 in Helena. Together they had one daughter, Amanda Miller. They moved to Washington for awhile before making their way home in Kimberly, Idaho.
While in Idaho, Cindy worked in farming, cattle, Ferry-Morse Bean & seed Co., Idaho potatoes harvests and at the Traveler’s Oasis truck stop. On I-84 next to the Snake River canyon for 10 years before moving back to Montana to be closer to family. In Helena she worked as a CNA at Cooney Convalescent Home & Big Sky Care Center until becoming ill in 2007.
Cindy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sven and Nellie Susag; William and Evelyn (Nicoline) Brown; and her father, Robert W. Susag.
Cindy is survived by her daughter, Amanda Miller of Helena; mother, Beverly Susag of Helena; brother, Mark Susag of Helena; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Kim Susag and their daughter Kelsey (Miles) Bell all of Helena; sister, Beth Susag ( Dan Cross) of East Helena and their daughter Angie (Luke) Stinchfield of Kalispell; grandchildren: Brendan Miller of Kimberly, ID, Austin Miller of Helena, Jayden Triplett of Helena; great nieces, Skyleigh Stinchfield and Emilyn Bell; great nephew, Dominic Bell; several uncles, aunts and cousins.
A memorial service is scheduled at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A reception will take place immediately following the graveside service at the banquet hall of the funeral home.
