Dacre is survived by his wife of 67 years Irene Duke, of Helena. His daughters, Kim Bennett (Tim) of Kalispell Karyn ( Dave) Kanta of Clancy Grandchildren Dugan Kanta, Lindsay (AJ) Konen, Ty Kanta, Colter (Hillery) Bennett, McKell (Riley) Corcoran and JD Bennett. Great Grandchildren: Lillian, Ella, and Beau Bennett; Carson and Cora Konen; Beckett Corcoran
Dacre married Irene Goetz in Boulder, MT in August 1957. He was an incredibly involved father to their daughters Kim and Karyn. He enjoyed supporting them through their various activities in their youth. He was a loving grandfather who enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Dacre began cultivating his own small farm in the North Valley in 1975. He also made many lifelong friends through his career of selling gas and oil to the local farmers and ranchers. Even in retirement he continued to enjoy working alongside various friends and always lending his wisdom with a side of token dry wit and one liners.
