Danielle Marie (Miller)Moore was born on January 1, 1989, to her loving parents, Christie and Leonard Miller. Dani was known for her adventurous spirit and fearless nature from an early age. Whether splashing through mud puddles, creating imaginative games, or chasing her next big adventure, she embraced life with boundless energy. At three, she became a proud big sister when her parents welcomed Stevi.
The family spent Dani’s early years in the Silver Star and Twin Bridges area before relocating to Bozeman. Dani was a natural talent, learning to play the violin at a young age and breaking barriers as the only girl on the baseball team. She was never afraid to take risks, constantly pushing herself to try new things. In 2001, just days after welcoming the youngest sister, Sydney, the family moved to Three Forks, Montana, where the girls spent most of their childhood, making lifelong memories together.
In high school, Dani was a standout athlete on the track team, excelling in hurdles and consistently pushing herself to new achievements. She was also a dedicated member of the Three Forks High School cheer squad, where her infectious smile and warm spirit uplifted those around her. Some of her happiest memories were made alongside her closest friends. Dani’s courage, strength, and unwavering devotion impacted all who knew and loved her.
After graduating from high school, Dani joined the Army National Guard. In 2012, at 23, she welcomed her first daughter, Payton, whose arrival brought the sense of purpose Dani had always longed for—motherhood was truly her calling. A year later, she met and fell in love with Michael Moore and his daughter, Misalee, and her small family of two quickly became a family of four. Dani and Michael were married on September 9, 2016, and in the spring of 2017, they joyfully welcomed their daughter, Gracie, completing their beautiful family.
Danielle was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Miller. She is survived by her husband, Michael Moore of Helena, Montana; her daughters, Misalee Moore, Payton Moore, and Gracie Moore, all of Helena, Montana; and her mother, Christie Miller (Sholey) of Missoula, Montana. She also leaves behind her sisters, Stevi (Matthew) Peldzus (Miller) and Sydney Miller of Missoula, Montana; her grandmother, Patricia Aguirre of Butte, Montana; and her grandparents, Patty and Charles Miller of Silver Star, Montana. In addition, she is lovingly remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of cherished family and friends.
Danielle was a woman of many passions, finding joy in simple yet beautiful moments. Dani had a voice that could fill a room with warmth, singing with a heartfelt joy that lifted the spirits of those around her. She could bring any canvas to life with a paintbrush, a hobby she had grown especially fond of in her later years. Nature was her sanctuary, and she cherished long walks outdoors, where she found peace in the rustling leaves, birds’ songs, and the changing seasons’ beauty. Her love for her family, friends, and the natural world was a testament to her vibrant spirit, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A service for Danielle will be held at the Anderson Stevenson Wilke & Retz Funeral Home, 3750 North Montana Avenue, Helena, on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 1 p.m. Anyone who would like to show love and support for Dani is welcome, and a reception will follow at the exact location.

I’m so sorry about Danielle. I found a scripture on JW.org that I like to share, Acts 24:15, “there is going to be a resurrection,” I wish your family the very best for the future.

Danielle stole our hearts, when she made her grand entrance on New Years Day “1989”. First baby born in Butte Mt. It was a momentous occasion with the whole family at the hospital for her arrival. A lil more than her mom (my baby sister) probably wanted at the time lol…I remember this beautiful baby girl coming into the world, her dad standing next to my sister cutting the umbilical cord.I recall he had a great big smile and a lil overwhelmed all at the same time…Dani with a heavy heart, l love and will miss u more than words can ever say…You always had the most beautiful smile and an infectious laugh I will never forget. I will always cherish all the sweet memories of you. You have completed life’s journey here and There’s an open gate at the end of the road, through which each must go alone, and there in a light we cannot see. Our father claims his own.”Beyond the gate” you will find happiness and peace, and there is comfort in the thought that god knows best…Until we meet again rest sweet Dani…”Beyond Lifes Gateway” We love you forever and a day… Love Aunt Cathy & Uncle Tony

You could not have been born to a more loving family. I didn’t get to meet you, but since I know you had an awesome mom, and the comments I read from family members just confirm how awesome you were in life.
I wish you peace and pray your family will celebrate the moments they shared with you. You will be so missed.
Love, one of many of the cousins, Sally
