Darren Fleiner, 33, of Helena, passed away unexpectedly June 3, 2018, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center with his family at his side.
Born March 23, 1985, in Helena, Darren graduated from Helena High School and studied English literature at the University of Montana in Missoula. He was employed at Chicago Title in Helena the past three years and also worked at Lithia Dodge for eight years. Darren married the love of his life, Kelly, August 31, 2013, and the couple resided in Helena. He was a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Helena and especially enjoyed spending time with his “little.” Darren was an active member of the Helena Real Estate community and enjoyed learning the complicated industry and making new friends.
Darren loved his brother and spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed Jeeping, his dogs and cat, collecting ridiculous handguns, voting and the entire democratic process, every obscure song only he could find, Calvin and Hobbs, cooking, reading, traveling, and golfing.
Darren is survived by his wife Kelly; father Bill Fleiner and mother Charlotte Fuson; brother Deano and his wife Jennifer; in laws Bill, Peggy and Scott Stebbins; many beloved aunts and uncles; cousins; fur babies Ginny, Bull, Elvis and Boo Radley; and friends who meant so much to him.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2 p.m. at the Radisson (Colonial Inn) 2301 Colonial Dr in Helena with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Darren’s name to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Helena, 30 West Sixth St., Helena, MT 59601.
