David Sea Holt, 39 of Great Falls went home with the Lord in the early morning hours of April 3, 2016 surrounded by his loving family due to diabetic complications.
David was the youngest child of David and Donna Holt born in Tillamook, Oregon on May 13, 1976. He was raised and went to school in Woodburn, Oregon. After meeting the love of his life, Memorie, the two of them settled in Great Falls. They were married on Sept 26, 1998. They became the parents of two wonderful children shortly after, Ted and Sarah.
David had many jobs to support his family before becoming the manager of Capital Maintenance where he was in charge of many stores in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota, and Utah. He worked very hard for is family and was a great provider.
It only took a little while after meeting him to see he was a very hard worker, had a huge heart and would give the shirt off his back to help someone. Dave was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. Fast with a smile and always going the extra mile for those he loved. There will never be a more awesome man to know. If he called you family or friend you knew he was always there for you. There are not enough words for how great of a man he was and how loved he was. Never missing the chance to tell us how much he loved each one of us. He loved to be outside in the summer and to just be with his family and friends sitting and talking.
Dave’s smile and love of life will be greatly missed by those of us who love him. The hole he left will forever be with us. “You left us before we were ready but God knew you were tired and ready to be with him.”
David is survived by his beautiful wife Memorie Holt; his son, Ted Holt, his daughter, Sarah Holt both of Great Falls; his mother, Donna (Med) Eastwood of Great Falls; siblings, Julie (Bob) Barrett of Welches, OR; Brian Holt of Salem, OR; Chris (Kelly) Holt of Helena, MT; Tricia (Larry) Oxley of Caldwell, Id; Heather (Jim) Lamoreaux of Kincheloe, MI; Bernadette (Scott) Mader and Jodi (Morey) Foster both of Great Falls. Dave is also survived by many many nieces and nephews, who all adored him and great friends who will miss him.
He is preceded in death by his father, David R. Holt and friends Aaron, Ron and Dave.
We will be having a going away party for him on May 13, 2016 on what would have been his 40th birthday in Great Falls. More on that later.

I remember when you were born. You came into the world making sure everyone knew you were born! You were a mischievous scrappy kid. You and my son Dave played together and called each other brother. You worked hard to take care of your family and you and Mem did a good job with raising those great kids. We will all miss you sweetie. Say hello to your Dad and Grandmother. Love you.
