DeLores J. Brock

May 13, 1926 – December 26, 2010

DeLores Jean Brock, age 84 of Helena, went to the Lord on Monday, December 26, 2010 peacefully at her home. She was born May 13, 1926 in Helena to Alexander T. and Vera M. (Masters) Stuart.

DeLores graduated from Helena High and later met and married Clifford (Skip) Leon Webster on January 14, 1947 and they had two children, Caroline and Timothy. DeLores and Skip ranched in Elliston and Dee worked at Floy and Doug’s Truck Stop while Skip work in East Helena at the Smelter.

Dee also worked at Montgomery Ward’s, Woolworth’s, Blue Cross Blue Shield and was Head Cook at the Boulder River School and Hospital as well as in the Canteen. Dee and Skip co-owned the White Mill Bar with Dee’s parents, Alex and Vera where she bar tended.

Skip passed away in 1970 and DeLores remarried. She married Don Convers and she then married George Brock after Don passed. Dee later moved to Helena to be closer to her family.

She is survived by her children, Carol Ham (Gerry Kercher) and Tim Webster both of Helena; four grandchildren, Kyle, Kody, Rae, and Tanny; five great-grandchildren, Laramie, Lane, Nathan, Tazia and Jeric. Dee was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands.

A social gathering in remembrance of DeLores will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Retz Funeral Home with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. To offer condolences to the family or to share a memory of DeLores, please visit: www.retzfuneralhome.com.

    To Carol and Tim,
    I cannot attend your gathering at Ritzs. My husband is being released from the hospital about that time.
    Delores and I became very good friends when she worked with us at the Prickly Pear Truck Stop. I’m very sorry you lost your mother. I loved her.
