Great Grandma Vose (Dody) is a funny lovable woman who makes everyone laughs with her silly jokes. I make eye contact with her when I say “hi” “how are you doing” and so much more. One time she got confused of what I was explaining to her, so I explained again of what I did during school and she made an “ooooh” facial expression, which made me laugh! I wish I can get to know my Great Grandma more by visiting more often. The only way I can remember her is the time I last visited her and the story telling of her successful long life in memory.

My grandmother-in-law was an amazing woman, she was what I coined “my birthday buddy” because her birthday is the day before mine. I imagined her being like me in her prime, before the stroke took some of her magic away. She was always so caring towards me and for that I’m so thankful. She loved seeing us last we visited, made funny jokes about the low light in the room, she needed more light to do her word find! We all giggled when the light was brightened she exclaimed “Praise the lord!”. She’s been missed dearly already, but is even more so today. May she find a well deserved rest and peace in death. Finally to be reunited with her husband and grandson! Love you Grandma!

Aunt Dode ; I remember you playing the accordion when we were visiting one time; I was in such AWE as I couldn’t believe how fast you could move that thing and your fingers and have sooooo many moving parts going on at the same time. I was totally impressed. I remember You and Uncle Chuck playing games with Mom and Dad…. I bet your all playing games now… I think Heaven will be like a Jesus Frat Party….I can see Uncle Chuck running up and down the halls playing pranks and Aunt Dode laughing,,…..Aunt Dode, you will be missed but we all know where you are. You have been an inspiration to all of us in how the events of your life trapped you inside your body for so many years, and you loved Jesus still. You are no longer trapped there. You are laughing and singing and dancing and playing instruments and we, who know Jesus as our personal Savior will be with her again one day in that big Jesus frat party. I pray that all who have never asked Jesus Christ into their life as their own personal Savior, please do it now. Don’t put it off because we never know when we will be taken from this earth. This is not goodbye Aunt Dode, but see you later … Love You, Teresa
