I never had the privilege of meeting DeWayne but I can only assume he was a wonderful man and father. I have become very good friends
With his daughter Marla, it takes a very special father to raise such an amazing women as Marla is.

My heart goes out to the whole family. It has been years since I have seen you but I will never in my life forget the Halloween you scared Patrick and our son Todd. I still laugh about your halloween decor. So many wonderful memories. Hugs to you all.

Dear Ila and Family
To this day he grew the best sweet corn I’ve ever had. It’s so hard to lose our loved ones, we have to believe they are in a better place
From my family to yours we want you to know how sorry we are about DeWayne’s passing. We are here for you all if you need us for anything. He was such a great joke and story teller. Whatever he did he did well. I used to love the summer’s in Helena when he had his gardens
Much love and big hugs to you all,
Love Mike and Debbie Velasquez and family.

Hello~
I am Dewayne’s very first NIECE Eileen;) Eugene was my Father. I vaguely remember him since childhood but I do recall running into him one year in the late 60’s at the Enumclaw Fair. The next time I saw him was in the 90’s at a picnic at salt water park for a reunion. Had he not still lived in Auburn, I doubt I would have been able to reunite with my Father before he passed away. I got to meet my cousins during that picnic which was such a Blessing. I remember Dewayne as a very nice man and send my Loving Sympathy to the family, in Jesus Name~

Grandpa Dewayne had a HUGE back yard and in the early nineties the super soaker was the ultimate to this day I remember hearing…” Super soaker huh…. I got my own super soaker”. . Pulls out his garden hose and soaked all his grandkids… Miss you…. Bachi
