I remember your Mom Diana – when she was visiting her Mom in East Chicago, Indiana and at gatherings with family events. Along with her flair for fashion etc. there was a more important good soul at heart – May her memory be eternal. Rest in peace Diana.

Aunt Diana has always been special me. I remember how much she enjoyed dancing in Chicago. Paul and I visited her while she lived on Michigan Ave. We took her advice and ballroom danced at her favorite place. She was one of the best dressed women in the restaurant!! We will miss her and may she rest in peace with the Lord.
With our love,
Rebeccca (Sangalis), Paul, Nick, Christopher and Theo Gyra. Xoxo

I was a close friend of Diana’s for the years she lived in Chicago. We knew each other through the Greek community and church in Chicago. Diana was a very classy and gracious lady, always proud of the way she looked and how she presented herself. She treated people with respect and care, and had the utmost compassion and love for others. Diana was the same age as my mother, so she was from a unique generation that cared about their families, and showed compassion and care for others. You will be missed, Diana. Thank you for giving me the honor of being your friend while we lived in Chicago. And thank you for enjoying my artwork and your verbal support of it. God bless your soul, dear lady, because that is what you were, a classy, caring and compassionate lady. I will always remember you.

As a kid, I remember Aunt Diana as our “Aunt in California” who always sent the best gifts for Christmas and my birthday! Much later, she moved to Minneapolis where we lived and she would join us for Sunday dinner. She never ate much but always took several leftovers home with her. She was always impeccably dressed and carried herself with elegance and grace! She also impressed me by getting her college degree in her 60s. May she rest in peace with her Lord and Savior!
