Donald Eugene Gorton, age 64.
Don went to our Heavenly Father on January 14, 2013 at St. Peters Hospital from Cardiac Arrest
Donald “Rooster” Gorton was born on July 15, 1948 in Adams, WI to Floyd and Ardis Gorton. Don grew up in Adams, WI until after his time in the armed forces.
After the service Don wanted to see the world so he hopped on a train and spent years just riding the rails, until 1988 when he decided to make his home in Helena, MT. He got a job cooking at God’s Love, where he made many friends that turned into his family. He would later go to work at J and D Truck Repair, where he was working at the time of his death.
Don was a kind, loving man that would give the shirt off his back to help someone. He lived his life one day at a time never having any regrets. He had his hobbies like fishing, playing cribbage, playing on the farm, visiting family and friends, but his love was his motorcycles.
He is survived by his Daughters: Carazon Gorton and Husband Steve Lowman,
Nephews: Darrick Gorton and family, Troy Gorton and family, Cousins: Bernie and Janet Fritz, and many friends.
He is preceded in Death by his Parents: Floyd and Ardis (Cook) Gorton, Brother: Jack Gorton and Sister-In-Law Carol Gorton

Carazon, Your Dad was a very important part of our J&D family. He is truly missed and I still hear him walking past my office. His smile always warmed my heart and I will keep that very close to my heart. He was always willing and able to do anything for any of us at J&D We could all learn from his laid back life style. RIP Rooster. You are so very missed.
